Card Information and Uses

Identification Cards provide the following information:

Status with University: Student, Faculty, or Staff
Photograph & Name
Magnetic Strip Encoded with Identification Number for...
  electronic verification of status
  access to debit account functions
  on-campus account - flex dollars and colonel cash
  Laundry
  Vending
  Meal Plan accounts

Some on-campus uses include the following:

Identification purposes
Meal plans
Access to campus facilities
Access to Home Athletic Events - (students only)
Access to Library Facilities
Access to campus equipment

How long does it take for me to receive my card?

Students will receive their card by mail sent to their permenant address. Replacement cards are mailed in 5-9 business days. Faculty and Staff receive their cards during New Employee Orientation.

What if I receive a card with no picture?

Visit the Colonel 1 Card Office to have your picture taken. Activate the card that you have already received and another one will be mailed to that address. There is no charge for this second card.

Students who have activated their Colonel 1 Card to utilize the available debit card feature may use their card wherever MasterCard is accepted. Funds must be deposited into the student’s One Account prior to usage.
